While turn-based games are not what you would first associate Nintendo Switch with, there aren’t many great turn-based games made for it. However, Switch has a lot to offer, from important names to indie developers, including some fantastic role-playing games. So if you love crafting tactics and strategy, which is what you do in turn-based games, this is the list for you.
Maybe you thought Switch wasn’t for casino games. Well, you couldn’t have been more wrong. While Nintendo was initially skeptical about releasing such titles on its platform, those times are long gone, and players who enjoy casino slots and table games will be amazed by Vegas Party.
The game is made similar to online slots Canada offers, but of course, it doesn’t involve any real money. On the other hand, that doesn’t take the fun out of it. Like with the real deal, you can play poker, blackjack, roulette, and many other exciting slots and casino games. Compete with other fictional players as you race down the famous “Strip.” Of course, the game graphics follow what you would find in a typical casino, so expect a lot of flash and colour and luxury.
South Park: The Stick of Truth
As you would expect from a game based on South Park, The Stick Of Truth doesn’t make much sense. But it doesn’t have. It has to be enjoyable, and that it certainly is with its simple gameplay and comic storyline.
In the game, you can create your characters from scratch. Those characters are kids that have just moved to the town. Pretty soon, you join the other kids (including Cartman, Kyle, Stan, and so on) in a role-playing fantasy game. But then strange supernatural events start taking place, and the adventure begins.
As we already pointed out, the gameplay is simple. You (the player) and your partner use magic, melee, and ranged attacks to defeat enemies and move to the next level. But again, the storyline, and in this case, the humour, is the whole point of games like these.
Released relatively recently, in May 2021, the game offers something unique and exciting. The game gets setback in the year 1936. Nazi power is growing stronger across Europe and the Middle East. And they are searching for magical items to enhance their abilityand using occult dark magic rituals.
It is up to the player to assemble a team and race the Nazis before they found anything. Then, search temples, find hidden treasures, solve ancient riddles and puzzles to save the world.
There are many different types of rare equipment you can find and skills and abilities for your adventures. Campaigns vary in difficulty, with every campaign generating a different storyline so you can play the game again and again. Of course, you will constantly get faced with complex and other choices. Search the temple or the market? Betray or protect the village and so. But even if you lose in combat, it is not the end of the road. It can just add experience to your characters, so the team learns from its mistakes. Indeed, there are many different pathways to take in this game.
